Axial fan impellers
Our range of fan impellers in the range of diameters from 1200 up to 12500mm is based on four following blade profiles:
• type (1),
• type (5),
• type (7),
• type (8),
• type (14)
The last type in the range (14) is newly developed profile of silent blade is put into extended flow and endurance tests.
Number and blade profile are selected for each case by our specialists depends on fan cooler operational parameters. The minimum number of fan impeller is three and maximum is eight.
Each particular blade profile undergone extensive tests at our test station, and conforms to most recent Polish and international standards. Our company guarantees all flow operational parameters of the impeller. Blade profiles have been carefully engineered, tested and manufactured in order to meet all operational parameters required, with the performance that provides maximum efficiency at lowest possible noise level within specific work conditions.

Typical identification of the fan impeller: WO 8000-5-(7)
WO – stands for axial fan (in Polish)
8000 – impeller diameter in [mm]
   5 – blade number [pcs.]
   (7)– blade profile.
For special finishes additional code is applied at the end of fan impeller identification code: e.g.: AS, KO, NP, SG.
AS - anti-electrostatic finish (for explosion hazardous areas),
KO - acid-resistant finish (as well as also alkali resistant execution),
   NP - fire-retardant finish,
   SG - self-extinguishing finish.
All raw materials for anti-electrostatic impellers productions have been tested and approved by Experimental Mine "Barbara" of Central Mining Institute, a Polish Certification Authority.

For special finishes additional code is applied at the end of fan impeller identification code: e.g.: AS, KO, NP, SG.
Client specified materials might be used for special projects and in order to meet special requirements at particular environments.
Low weight as well as guaranteed balancing class of our fan impellers significantly extends fan overall life time and reduces gearbox maintenance and bearings replacement costs.
Fan impeller hub is dynamically balanced while each fan blade undergoes static balancing procedure that provides G 6,3 balance class.
Impellers as standard are made of cast steel or cast iron, which depends on the impeller diameter and power carried. Three coats of special epoxy paints for harsh working environments effectively prevents corrosion.
Wentylatory Wentech made available special impeller selection computer program in favor to enable energy balance in the engineering of fan coolers.

Why development of new blade profile is so much time consuming procedure?
An answer to this question would be a lifetime work concerning issues of media flow, noise emission and fan natural frequency as well as material engineering and mechanics.
Every fan has been engineered in every detail, developed and manufactured in order to conform any requirements in specific environment defined by client.
For existing solutions out technical team helps our client to verify fan parameters in case of missing unit data.
In engineering and development process of blade profile every new design undergoes extended applied research within wet fan coolers, dry air coolers, in harsh environments and in forced- and induced draft fan configuration.
Our range of products is based on expertise and knowledge of whole team of experts in ventilation technology and materials engineering.
